Donate Your Old Cell Phone
The HopeLine phone recycling program is an exclusive program that uses wireless services and equipment to assist victims in emergency domestic violence situations. HopeLine collects wireless phones that are no longer being used. The used phones are either refurbished and recycled or sold. With the funds raised from the sale of the refurbished phones, Verizon Wireless will purchase wireless phones and donate airtime to victims of domestic violence through human services and law enforcement agencies.
If you or someone you know is a victim of abuse, assault, or violence, or if you or someone you know has survived rape, sexual assault, family violence, intimate partner violence, or elder abuse, you can call Crisis Services any time at 716-834-3131 to speak with a counselor. On campus you can call the UB Police for help at 645-2837, and Counseling Services at 645-2720.
